DEENA ANA is a writer, educator and multi-disciplinary artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she was raised and educated. She is a first generation Iraqi-Assyrian-American feminist who advocates for the centering of children, women, and human rights.

Deena is currently obtaining her MFA in Creative Writing from Dominican University where she studies poetics and narrative medicine.
